Mochakk comments about the new release: "It's completely bananas to release on Ninja. It's one of those stamp-of-approval moments. It's such a respected label for years where so many great albums and singles were released from artists I've listened to for years. It feels unreal," the producer says. "I really enjoyed that they chose two very different tracks for that EP."
The opening track, “From The Stars,” pairs breezy female vocals with a reworked sample of The Rah Band’s classic “Messages From The Stars.” With its disco-inspired house beats and 80s influences, the track bridges nostalgic and contemporary dance music trends, creating a fresh sound.
The second track, “Maria,” has already built anticipation since its live debut at Mochakk’s 2023 Cercle set. Featuring minimal yet sultry vocals, layered synths, and hypnotic buildups, the track delves into UK-inspired soundscapes, offering an entrancing vibe that resonates universally.
