“I’m a big fan of Jaga Jazzist and was hugely inspired by the last album Starfire” says Kimbra. “I have often thought about what it would be like to hear vocals against their music. Young Dreams had done a rework of the song Oban and sent it into a soulful, 70's psychedelic world. Upon hearing it I immediately became flooded with ideas and asked the band if I could re-translate the song a second time by adding vocals. After a bit of back and forth collaboration with Young Dreams we ended up with an entirely new song titled ‘Relative Peace’.”
