— Released 1st March 2022 on Counter Records
French producer Kidswaste (aka Quentin Beauvois) & Los Angeles singer-songwriter Lizzy Land share a new single “Fall In”. French producer Kidswaste (aka Quentin Beauvois) & Los Angeles singer-songwriter Lizzy Land share a new single “Fall In”. The single follows the uplifting anthem “Let Go'' from last month and an enchanting collaboration with Olivia Reid for “Time is Mine" from earlier last year. "Fall In" was originally doomed to lie in a pile of unfinished projects on Beauvois' computer. Lizzy's luminous vocals revitalized the track and gauzy instrumentals soon enveloped the production, completing a dream-like experience.
In describing the new single, Lizzy Lands says, “Fall In is about the feeling you get when a memory consumes you. Like a wave you can’t avoid that brings you back to someone who isn’t in your life anymore. You go and fall into the past to find them."
Speaking more on production, Kidswaste adds, "Fall In used to be called "this never existed" in my computer because it's a track I never thought I'd be able to finish. Once I heard Lizzy's vocals I built the instrumental and structure in a couple of hours and everything instantly clicked."
Since Kidswaste began writing music in his bedroom studio in the north of France, a lot has changed for Quentin. Beauvois’ career has seen him collaborate with high-caliber artists and his releases have amassed more than 100 million streams across various platforms with press support from the likes of Billboard, FLAUNT, Dancing Astronaut and This Song Is Sick. Kidswaste has previously collaborated with Chelsea Cutler, gnash, Sophie Simmons, KOLE, Manila Killa and more. He’s also supported ODESZA, Chet Porter, Jai Wolf, DROELOE and more on tour.
Outside of the Kidswaste moniker, Quentin also produces ethereal vapor soul as Beauvois and is a member of French electronic supergroup Slow Hours (along with Astre, Khamsin, Kultur, Lain, and Rusty Hook), whose tracks have been played by Porter Robinson, Madeon, What So Not and Petit Biscuit.
“Fall In (feat. Lizzy Land)” is out now on Counter Records, with more new music from Kidswaste coming soon.
